PET (Polyethylene Terephthlalate ) is an amazingly versatile and lightweight plastic that is a great alternative to Glass, Acrylic and Polycarbonate. PET has excellent impact strength and the materials' chemical and weather resistant properties make it a perfect atternative for glass and glazing requirements.PET is also FDA approved and is 100 percent recyclable. Commonly called Axpet, Veralite 100, Lumex A or Nudec PET amongst others, this is one of the most common recycled plastics in the world.
