Bonding Polypropylene is near impossible due to its chemical resistance, though advancements in technology with regards to adhesives are getting ever closer to achieving this, although it can currently be welded using simple welding equipment and a welding rod. Polypropylene is commonly recycled, and has the number "5" as its resin identification code.
